A new building, everything is fresh. Strange windows in the room, if you keep it open to get some air in the summer heat, you will have the Trondheim rain coming into the room. Breakfast was superior. The staff was very helpful when we requested a room change. the walk into Trondheim Centre is worth noting as negative, this used to be the dock area, and it's a brief 1km walk into town. Good parking space, but let the car stay there, it will cost you 295nok/day, but calculated each time you drive out of the building. The hotel can not do anything about this practice as its run by the city.

(No big deal, since the hotel is facing all of the following: The main station; the main station’s cargo facilities; the cruise pier; the commercial harbour; and the Hurtigruten pier.) Not right in the center of Trondheim, but easily within walking distance.

Sweet and helpful staff! I was able to prolong my check out from 11:00 to 13:00 without having to pay anything extra. And breakfast was really good! A lot of options - I counted 8 tables of food and 2 for drinks. Due to the carpets, the noise wasn't an issue despite several people eating at the same time as I was.
